Chairman of the Board
Tyson and his wife Ariana live in Eagle Mountain, Utah with their daughter Alexandra (3). Tyson is an IT Business Systems Analyst at Intermountain Healthcare. He has an Bachelors degree in HR Management and a MBA in Information Technology Management. He is currently working on his MHA and hoping to go to law school and earn his JD in Employment Law.
Tyson has been very active in the political arena for many years. He has worked for various local, federal and state political campaigns, including work as a senior canvasser for Congressman Jim Matheson. He currently serves on the board of trustees for the second largest homeowners association in the state of Utah, the Ranches Master Homeowners Association. He is a former precinct chair for the Utah Democratic Party.
He has also been involved in several professional and non-profit boards before joining the Epilepsy Association of Utah, including the American Red Cross, Autism Council of Utah and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
Tyson first became involved with the EAU when he was the corporate sponsor and host at Adobe for the Community Service Awards back in 2014. He was very impressed with the great things the EAU was doing and couldn’t wait to get more involved. He official joined the board in February 2015.
