AVP of Programs
Holly Ferrin is the current AVP of Programs for the Epilepsy Association of Utah. Holly has been involved with the Epilepsy Association of Utah for many years, both as a person with epilepsy and as an active member of the board. Her personal experience allows her to connect with the epilepsy community in a way many others cannot. Holly served as the Midvale Youth Ambassador from 2009-2010 and followed this position as a Volunteer with the EAU from 2010-2011 when she then became a board member. Holly has served as AVP of Programs as well as Camp Director. In addition to her service to the EAU, Holly also sits as a Utah Transit Authority (UTA) CAT Voting Member for the 2014-2015 year.
Holly has a passion for advocacy and strives to be the voice for those who deal with the social discrimination that comes with having epilepsy, deafness (with and without epilepsy) and any other disability. True to her passion and socio-cultural understanding of disability, Holly obtained her BA in Deaf Studies from UVU in 2013 and is proficient in grant writing, meeting facilitation, event planning, outreach/networking, public speaking and is fluent in American Sign Language.
