The study concluded that 1 in 26 may still be an under estimate due to the fact that the United States currently has no reporting system for incidences involving Seizures and Epilepsy. As it stands, using this data, the incidence of Epilepsy in the United States is raised from 3 Million to 12 Million, with Men having a slightly higher chance of developing Epilepsy: 1 in 21.
